NEW MARKET COMMUNITY PARK is an twenty-four (24) acre community owned park featuring:

Community Park (2) Baseball Diamonds
(3) Jungle Gyms with swings
(1) Gravel Walking/Jogging Path
(6) Picnic Shelters
      - while shelters are open to the public we do
        ask your to call the Town Office at
        (540) 740-3432 during regular business hours
        to reserve (rent) a shelter to avoid conflicts -
(1) BBQ Pit
(1) Soccer Field
(5) Tennis Courts
(2) Basketball Courts
and a Community Pool

The park is open to the public from 7:00am-11:00pm, seven days per week. For more information see FAQ's/Parks and Recreation.

Community Poo The community pool will be open for weekends only effective Memorial Day Week-end.  Effective June 14th the community pool will be open Sunday thru Sunday 11:00 am- 6:00 pm.   The pool is open to all members of the public, but children under 10 years of age should be accompanied by an adult. Please see rates and fees under Town Info for admission fees. Guests are expected to abide by the rules and regulations posted at the Community Pool.

The Community Park is located at the south end of Cadet Road.


REBEL PARK is home to our own Valley League New Market Rebels Baseball Team. The Rebel’s roster is made up of college baseball players who use the long, warm valley summers to hone their skills in the competitive Valley League. Come out and join the community in the support of our home team. Home games begin at 7:30 pm with the season opener on June 4th vs. Winchester. Please visit the New Market Rebels Baseball Team’s website for the season’s entire schedule.

In addition to the Valley League, Rebels the newest expansion team in the Rockingham County Baseball League now calls Rebel Park home.  Welcome and best of luck to the RCBL's New Market Shockers!
