David and Trudy are two people with a deeply rooted love of history, particularly local lore. They both have admired and collected old things since they were old enough to have their own spending money! Items brought into the store are carefully picked and unique; the store has been known for a dynamite box that was used to carry sticks of dynamite into the mines of West Virginia and repurposed as a beautiful vintage candle holder, an 1800’s peddler wagon, and a mahogany 1938 phone booth with light and phone in working condition, just to name a few. We invite you to come in, chat a while, work on puzzle, browse, and yes buy. Items are ever changing and we pride ourselves on being “not your average antique store.” ” We will pick through anything to bring the past back to you.”
