The Rouss Center for the Arts presents the premier production of Just Juliet, an original play by local playwright Willough Sloan.
It’s opening night of the community theater’s production of Romeo and Juliet, but nothing is going as planned! Due to a series of mishaps, the cast hasn’t got it all together. And this isn’t any old opening night, either – there’s a rumor going on backstage that a very special someone is in the audience. Is it a reporter from the newspaper? Someone from the TV station? Is it a talent scout? Is it Osgarden Fenlick, the big Broadway producer, looking for people to star in his next musical? Things go from bad to worse the more the actors try to top one another onstage, hoping to catch the attention of that special someone in the audience. Can the director and his troupe save this production? Or is it doomed to be a failure?
