The Town of New Market is partnering with AmeriCorps VISTA to create a job opportunity that assists with our Community Center project. This temporary AmeriCorps position, Town of New Market Community Program VISTA, will build capacity by revitalizing the currently underutilized community center and its programming. The VISTA Member will do so by drafting a program development plan, expanding community engagement and support, and identifying resources to promote long-term financial sustainability. The right fit for this position will have strong in-person, phone, and written communication skills to engage all sectors of the community in building capacity and vision for a vibrant and supportive community center. The applicant must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.

Program Start/End Dates: 10/27/2025-10/26/2026
