Community Easter Egg Hunt - Saturday, March 23rd- hunt starts at 9:30 a.m.
Come to the New Market Community Park for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Lots of eggs filled with goodies to find, fun crafts, and meet the Easter Bunny! The hunt will start at 9:30 a.m., so you will want to arrive early to get into starting positions. Please make sure to bring your own basket for collecting eggs. This event is for ages 1-12.

Jammin’ Foods Fest - Saturday, May 18th from 4:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
New Market’s annual food truck fest is held in the New Market Community Park. There will be a selection of food trucks, live music, vendors, fun things for the kids to do. Admission is FREE. There is overflow parking at the New Market Fire Department. Bring chairs/blankets for comfort. Pets are allowed on leashes only and not in the food truck area.

Movie Nights in the Park 2024
Come to the New Market Community Park to enjoy a FREE movie in the stars with family and friends! For your viewing comfort, we encourage you to bring chairs and/or blankets. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks (no alcoholic beverages allowed). All movies will begin at sundown.

Cross Roads Music Fest 2024
The Town of New Market presents its 10th annual Summer Music Series: Cross Roads Music Fest. This event will be held at Rebel Park on selected dates from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Admission is FREE! Food and drink are available for purchase. Bring a blanket or a chair and enjoy an evening of local music, food, and brews. Follow our Facebook page to stay informed.

Independence Day Celebration - Friday, July 5th from 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m.
The New Market Fireworks Committee brings a fun community celebration to the New Market Community Park to celebrate Independence Day. The celebration activities start at 5:00 p.m. with a fireworks display showing around 9:20 p.m. Mark your calendars and come visit with your family, friends, and neighbors. Bring chairs or blankets to enjoy the evening. (NO PETS ALLOWED).

National Night Out - Tuesday, August 6th from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
The New Market Police Department is excited to be hosting its annual National Night Out event on August 6th in the New Market Community Park! Join them in the park for a fun evening of activities/games, free hot dogs/chips/drinks, cotton candy, face painting, resource tables, and more! Admission is FREE.
Annual Rt. 11 Yard Crawl - Saturday, August 10th starts at 7:00 a.m.

Summer’s End Pup Pool Party - Sunday, September 8th from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.
A day to celebrate your furry loved one! Bring your dog to socialize and play in the New Market Community Pool from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Cost is $3.00 per dog. Registration is highly recommended. Proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination is required. Link to come for registration.

New Market Fall Festival - Saturday, September 28th from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
Come to our annual Fall Festival located in historic Downtown New Market! Come enjoy treasures crafted by local vendors, taste local food, and sing along and dance to local musicians! A fun day for all ages! We invite people from all communities, as well as interested vendors.

The New Market Merchants Committee and the Town of New Market will be hosting their annual Trick or Treat on Congress Street. Visit various downtown businesses that have left their light on for trick or treaters and you will leave with a special treat! While collecting candy, be sure to browse our stores for upcoming holiday gifts. Come on out and have a spooky safe time in the New Market downtown businesses!

‘Tis the Season Holiday Celebration Parade - Saturday, December 7th, 2024
The parade will start at 5:00 p.m. and travel south on Congress Street. (Lineup starts at 4:00 p.m.)
Don't forget to stop by the New Market Library after the parade to see Santa & Mrs. Claus and pick up your goody bag (while supplies last).

Flashlight Candy Cane Hunt - Saturday, December 14th, 2024 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
Join us for the hunt for candy canes and other goodies that are hidden in the park! Children ages 1 to 14 are invited to participate in a Flashlight Candy Cane hunt in the New Market Community Park. Special prizes to be found! Come bundled up to brave the cold, and come prepared with a flashlight to see in the dark! There will be hot chocolate, and other fun activities to participate in as well.
Registration IS REQUIRED and LIMITED spots available.
