Rt. 211 Sidewalk Project

The Town of New Market (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:  Route 211 Lee Highway Sidewalk

Issue Date: Tuesday, December 16, 2025
Bids Due: Friday, January 30th, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time   Per Addendum No. 2, Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. local time.

The Project includes the following Work:
This project generally involves installing a new sidewalk and associated grading, curb and gutter, signage, and driveway entrances. 

Important Dates:

Pre-Bid Conference (Mandatory): Thursday, January 8th, 2026 at 11:00 AM local time, at New Market Town Hall. Attendance is mandatory.
Questions Due: Friday, January 23rd, 2026, at 4:00 PM local time.
Bids Due: Friday, January 30th, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time.     Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. local time.
Bid Opening:-Friday, January 30th, 2026 at 3:05 PM local time.  Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. local time.

Bids for the Project will be received at by Town of New Market Town Hall,  9418 John Sevier Road, New Market, Virginia 22844, no later than Friday, January 30th, 2026, at 3:00 PM local time.   Wednesday, February 4th, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. local time.
