Pool Staff for 2026 Pool Season

The Town of New Market is accepting applications for pool staff for the summer 2026 season.  Positions include lifeguards and pool manager(s).  Starting pay is $13.50/hour.  Lifeguards must currently have, or be able to obtain a Red Cross certification before the season starts. For the lifeguards renewing and /or those newly obtaining certification, the Town will reimburse the cost of the training**, if hired.  Interested candidates must be willing to work flexible hours.  Employment applications are available below or can be picked up at the Town Office, 9418 John Sevier Road.  The pool opens on Saturday, May 23, 2026.  Applications should be turned in to the Town Office, Attn:  Amber Smoot, Administrative Assistant, at 9418 John Sevier Road, mailed to P. **To be eligible for reimbursement you must be certified and hired as a lifeguard by the Town of New Market prior to May 20th, 2026, and receipt of payment for course must be submitted to administration.
